th2 8118 are all the shake head places, tons of music, no tv went th2 once after meeting a group which were the princess/dj friends in sanjiang. partied until 8am, bill was like 1.2m, dirt cheap prices for everything.
casino there's one in the city after the airport, dasavanh hotel, else the thai lao friendship bridge which is like 45mins away. lastly the casino resort at Dansavanh Nam Ngum Resort which is by the lake and it's like a few hours away.
think general rule, don't be too flashy at these places
Maybe those new to Vientiane may find this video useful and somewhat informative. I passed this joint many times but never tried it. Maybe I'll have a go the next time I visit
China influence is even bigger now. You see them literally everywhere, spoiling the market like what they did elsewhere around the region. Other than that.. Nothing fancy only your usual farms, limited spa and super ex ktv. You have to lower your expectations there then it will be OK and don't expect services like. From their neighbours country. High chance deadfish w no BJ.
Apparently more spoilt by this certain middle kingdom. The new tg club charged 700 USD for KTV room. Not sure if my kaki heard wrongly. Surely..... "They" are here
